Product Description

1. Character: Heptahydrate: It's blue-green crystals or granules, odorless with astringency. In dry air, it's efflorescent. In moist air,                         it oxidizes readily to form a brown-yellow, basic ferric sulfate. It's soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.

                       Dried: It's gray-white to beige powder. with astringency. It is mainly composed of FeSO₄·H₂O and contains a few of                         FeSO₄·4H₂O.It's slowly soluble in cold water (26.6 g / 100 ml, 20 ºC), It will be dissolved quickly when heating. It's                           insoluble in ethanol. Almost insoluble in 50% sulfuric acid.

2. Usage: In food industry, it is used as nutritional fortifier (Magnesium fortifier), solidification, flavor agent,process aid and brew additive. It is used as nutritional source to improve ferment and the taste of synthesizes saka(0.002%). It also could modify water hardness.

3. Packing: In 25kg composite plastic woven/ paper bag with PE liner.

4. Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
